A brief recap of AY 06/07
As of 13th February exams & school ended for me. It was defintely a year that taught me so much and made me stronger. A year that changed the definitions in my dictionary of various words. A year that gave me new opportunities, new experiences and a new view of life.
As the memories of AY 06/07 remain fresh in my mind, here's an update in random order on the happenings.Updates- started this motivational blog in a bid to help troubled souls.- 2B02 had one person less in it's class.- had more enemies who i never considered as enemies in the first place.- joined a cca- made a lot of new friends who are now my acquaintances/god knows what, as they've gone MIA.- found out the true colours of a good friend.- had my first assessment.- had wonderful students from NTUC CC- Haig Road.- did my first performance for my cca, as Lathi.- went to Bangkok.- Ambrose finally got an band one in both my subjects.- entered the shoe design competition.- found out who actually stood by me in tough times, and who was nice to me just because they wanted something from me.- became nasty.- was stage manager.- got addicted to cha yu pian mi fen (fried fish bee hoon) [pardon my spelling]- was accused of something i didn't do.- dearest brother became a police.- Helped out in my first red camp.- Helped to organize plans for cca in my first Open House.- Became happier with ECH and that i didn't join the course i originally wanted to.- did my first child interview.- fell in love. with Nicholas. And despite all the good things tha happened, i never took them for granted.
Cherish everything around you. Because not everyone has the gift of life. You are somebody who was given the gift, so use it wisely, and never choose to throw this gift away. As i said, not everyone has the gift of life. Like you.
