Have a Kit-Kat!

With this, the blogger takes a break. After much thought, I have decided that I shan't blog anymore for now. Maybe if there is anything of significance.
As requested by someone special, the blog will not be deleted. This blog will be left here for your perusal.
If any entry has made you smile, I thank God for allowing that to happen. As I go on my journey to look for some smiles myself, I wish everyone all the best.
Shall be back when things get better. See you.

AB: Pah jiao si mi lan! People where got look down when walking one
KA: wah! Ah boy ah! You 10 year old only say these type of thing, want to die ah
AB: Die then die lah!
[Sad emo song sang by AB]

[PM transform into the superhero PrataMan, the man with the power of prata and a man]
AB: easy for you to say, you are prataman, you can shoot out curry and catch criminals with your prata dough
PM: but with all the power, I still can’t get the woman I love
[PM sings love song to KA]
END SCENE
[night time arrives, and a shadow is seen, suddenly PM appears]
PM: Stop there masked criminal! Your kopi spilling days are over!
[Start chase scene]
PM: It’s a dead end, there’s no way for you to run
[PM takes out mask]
PM: KOPI AUNTIE! ITS YOU, but WHY?
[KA kicks PM down and runs into the night]

Pardon the language and vulgarities. This is what Shawn Tan does when everyone else is writing scripts during rehearsals and all he wants to do is to watch House on his laptop, which he can't.

At the very least, after reading this, I was inspired for the script. Strangely. :/

Through the eyes of...

A paper plane from paper
Colours in the dark
Song from mere words
Grace in a fall

Love in admonishment
A friend in an enemy
Strength in tough times
Happiness is a baby

Life in a wilting flower
The world in a single thought
Family in strangers
A picture from a dot.

And it could
only be seen
through the eyes of...
One.

One who values blessings
One who knows tears aren't forever
One who feels love for even enemies
One who takes risks and finds joy in making mistakes

The one.
How many are there?

Techno- Geek

Technology seems to be taking over the world. Even PM Lee is encouraging everyone to blog. If only I had known. I wouldn't be in the Early Childhood line. I would probably have taken up some computer or science related course.

I can see myself. In 10 yrs, I'd probably be a mad scientist busy inventing battery operated chopsticks and foldable toilet bowls.

Imagine the smell if we could carry those toilets on the bus. Phew. Even young people's hair will start turning white. And before you know it, the ENTIRE population will be aging because of the horrible smell penetrating through the foldable toilet bowl.

All thanks to, ShronTheGreat.

If I could invent things, I would invent...

1) An organizer that can be programmed and fit into my brain.

2) A money tree

3) TVs that exude smell, so that when I watch cooking shows, I can smell the food

4) A weight loss machine that works just by tying it around your stomach. It would help the Indian actors who need ropes to help them jump and fight (Vijayakanth: Seriously. Google his name and watch videos of him on youtube. You'll know what I mean).

5) A permanent lip seal for people who try to talk too much and assert authority.

6) 'Green electricity'- Since the world's fuel is depeleting, I'll invent electricity that is created by talking. Just have 10 people like me. We'll talk till the cows come home. And instantly, there'll be enough electricity for the next 15 generations.

7) A four storey bus so people won't have to run for seats like there's gold on it. As for the trains, probably allow people to sit on top of the train. This will be reserved for the irritants of the nation. Those who think the entire MRT belongs to them. So if they talk too much, just push them off.

8) A portable toilet- Not to age the entire Singaopore population. But to ensure buses won't be packed like sardines in the mornings. Imagine. A crowded bus. You enter with your portable toilet filled with all the business from the day before. Before you even set foot, everyone will be fighting to get off the bus. And the old people, will finally have seats to sit on. Doesn't make sense does it? I know. I never did make sense.

Love.

I've been learning so much about love.
Over the past few months.
Especially the past few months.

The love of God I feel at church; it's love that I know I would always have.
The love that was discovered some time ago; a feeling that was just not meant to be.
The love for people I used to have; and it's only dying rapidly by the second.
The love I thought was lost 15 years ago; I never expected to see you again.
The love that is everywhere all around me; I have finally learnt to embrace it.

Love.
It's not what you think it is.
It's a whole lot more.

Going once.... Going twice... Gone!

I've been studying too much. The result of it?
Was walking to the bus stop and crossed the road, didn't see the car. When I did, it looked like it was slowing down. So I continued walking at my own slow pace, as if I was running in slow motion for a bollywood love song. And the rest, is history.
As I ate my Tempura Bento Set, I ate chicken without knowing (Yeah, chicken in Seafood? My exact question) and I almost vomitted. The taste of chicken. Yuck.
On the way home in the train, I accidentally poked my own eye. :/
And when I reached home, I didn't realise that my books in my bag were pressing against the volume button on my mp3 UNTIL the cantonese song blasted in my ears. And my poor ear still hurts.
Had a weird day. Went to watch The Write Stuff at DBS Arts Centre. Was pretty disappointed with it. I think we have a long way to go in staging quality children's theatre. It wasn't the stories that were disappointing though. It was the direction. The play just seems to be more for teenagers than kids. I loved the kid sitting behind me though. So friendly!
Syafiqah constantly sent me friendster profiles last night to view, trying her luck at matchmaking. Funny girl. But it just ain't gonna happen.
I am convinced that I don't have much time left. Don't know why.
And if I do, I would probably grow old as a loner.
Knitting and watching goldfish for entertainment.
How fun. Yay!

Goodbye's not forever

I miss Dennis... In the past, there was always someone there to just talk nonsense with, to discuss the important stuff, to talk about life and share the lame YouTube videos.

Then you were gone, and took all of the above away with you. The closest I have come to is the sharing of videos. I just can't discuss the important stuff with anyone. Honestly, not a single person. I'm really very worried for them, and who do I talk to about this? Nobody's listening and I don't want our efforts to die off. Very few know the blood, tears and sweat put in.

I don't wish you back or regret much, because I know that it was time and it was best you left.

But it takes long to forget, for the times we shared of joy and troubles will last a lifetime.

And then I'm happy that at the very least, goodbyes are not forever.
